DPC Invites Members to its 14th Annual General Meeting

DPC is delighted to invite members to the 14th Annual General Meeting of the DPC which will be held at 16:15 on Tuesday 29th November 2015 in the Livery Room of the Worshipful Company of Information Technologists' Hall, 39a Bartholomew Close, London, EC1A 7JN. The meeting is expected to end at approximately 17:00. Tea and coffee will be available from 16:00. The AGM will be chaired by Laura Mitchell, Chair of the Digital Preservation Coalition.

Academic Preservation Trust Joins the DPC

The DPC is delighted to welcome the Academic Preservation Trust (APTrust) as the newest associate member. Based at the University of Virginia, the APTrust is a 16-member consortium of American research university libraries committed to the creation and management of a sustainable environment for digital preservation. “For us, the issue is only partially technical,” explains Chip German, Program Director of APTrust.

Open Access Archaeology Fund

To mark our shared 20th anniversary year, Internet Archaeology and the Archaeology Data Service have combined forces to launch the Open Access Archaeology Fund, with the specific aim of supporting the journal publishing and archiving costs of researchers who have no means of institutional support.
