DAH Scholarships Available for DPASSH 2017

The Digital Repository of Ireland, in collaboration with the Digital Arts and Humanities (DAH) PhD Programme, is offering scholarships to attend the Digital Preservation for the Arts, Social Science, and Humanities (DPASSH) conference, which will take place 14-15 June 2017 at the University of Sussex, Brighton. Priority will be given to current DAH PhD students (although applications will be considered from others), and to those who are submitting an abstract to the conference.

DPC Invites Members to its 14th Annual General Meeting

DPC is delighted to invite members to the 14th Annual General Meeting of the DPC which will be held at 16:15 on Tuesday 29th November 2015 in the Livery Room of the Worshipful Company of Information Technologists' Hall, 39a Bartholomew Close, London, EC1A 7JN. The meeting is expected to end at approximately 17:00. Tea and coffee will be available from 16:00. The AGM will be chaired by Laura Mitchell, Chair of the Digital Preservation Coalition.

The DPC is pleased to announce that registration is open for the final ‘Getting Started with Digital Preservation’ workshop for 2016, hosted by the National Library of Wales in Aberystwyth on 14th December 2016. About ‘Getting Started….’ This day long introduction assumes no prior knowledge except a willingness to engage with digital preservation.
